Most people tend to think that homeless people who had nothing with him, will do anything and everything just to earn an easy money. What they all didn’t know is that there are still some homeless people out there who would still choose to do what is right. Take this story of a homeless man who returned a wallet to its owner, for example.

In Thailand, a homeless man who’s in need of money for him to have something to eat shocked everyone and even restored everyone’s faith in humanity after he did something with a lost wallet.

The homeless man who was identified as Waralop found a lost Hermes wallet that contains $578 or PHP 30,000 along with a couple of credit cards. He could have kept the money, bought himself some clothes, food and a house to live in, but he didn’t do it. In fact, he even did the right thing.

Instead of keeping the money for his own selfish needs, he decided to surrender the wallet at a police station just to make sure that the owner gets it back.

The owner of the wallet, Niity Pongkriangyos was then made aware of his lost wallet.

Pongkriangyos wasn’t just surprised that he had lost his wallet, but that it was also returned by a homeless man.

Pongkriangyos said, “I was totally surprised when the police told me they had my wallet as I didn’t even know I’d lost it. If it was me in that position with no money, I probably would have kept it.”

Due to his honesty, he was offered a job at Pongkriangyos’ factory and was even given the place to live in. The girlfriend of Pongkriangyos then posted his story online, sharing that he had been roaming in the streets and often slept at Huay Kwang MRT station, but his life has already changed because of an inspiring encounter.
