We can’t deny the fact that these days, more and more people are creating clones of different technologies. These clones are fake and have different features than of the original gadget. This is the reason why a lot of people tend to doubt whatever it is that’s being offered to them in store.Take this story of a man who bit a smartphone’s batter to test its authenticity for example.
A Chinese man was searching for a replacement battery for his smartphone so he decided to go to an electronics shop in China. However, the man wanted to test the authenticity of the battery so he decided to bite it. He was then surprised when what he did cause an explosion inside the store.
According to a report by the Taiwan News, the incident took place in an electronics shop in China wherein the CCTV footage uploaded on the Chinese video sharing site Miaopai, showed what really happened when the man bit the battery.
Although the explosion happened in just a blink of an eye, the store owners and the customer himself were thankful because they remained uninjured despite the bright flash that was created by the explosion of the battery.
Apparently, Chinese electronics stores these days have been selling counterfeit products, prompting costumers to doubt the authenticity of their products.
However, on the other hand, the man’s way of testing the authenticity of the product isn’t advisable. It’s not recommended to bite a battery since biting down a lithium-ion battery may cause a catastrophic failure in the inner workings of the battery.
This should serve as a lesson to each and every smartphone user out there to never ever bit your phone’s battery. And also, if you wanted to make sure that you are buying an authentic product, then go to the most trusted stores.
